Coral Bay
Nestled between ochre desert dunes and turquoise tropical waters, Coral Bay is a beautiful and remote resort town. Located approximately 1200KM north of Perth and 150km south of Exmouth, Coral Bay’s mild climate makes it the perfect base for your holiday any time of the year.
Situated in the spectacular Coral Coast region of Western Australia within the heart of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park we have direct beach access to the Ningaloo Reef system. This UNESCO World Heritage area, with its incredible hard coral structures and huge variety of marine life, is famous for its seasonal sightings of Whale Sharks, annual migration of Humpback Whales and year-round sightings of manta rays! With the reef right at your doorstep you can snorkel right off the beach and experience the Ningaloo reef in all its glory.
With only a permanent population of approximately 150-200 people, it is the ideal location for a calm and secluded holiday escape.

All year long the waters of the Ningaloo Reef are flooded with nutrients and marine life, so chance encounters may include dolphins, turtles, dugongs, orcas and other species of whales, pelagic species, different species of sharks and many different species of tropical fishes.
From March until July Whale Sharks are found all along the Ningaloo Reef, from July to October we can experience the annual migration of Humpback whales through the area and all year long we are very lucky to have a resident population of Manta Rays that inhabit the local waters.

Conveniently located in the heart of Coral Bay, Western Australia. As you drive into town, we are located on the right side of the road and on the outside of the Coral Bay Shopping Arcade just past Bill’s Bar.
Our shop is our tour meeting point and offers a range of our own branded merchandise & souvenirs including hats, t-shirts, towels and more! Our friendly and experienced staff are always ready to help you with your snorkelling and holiday needs. Just ask!
Amenities
Along with unique Coral Bay adventures, you will find all amenities within easy walking distance.
All necessities are available at the two supermarkets in town, located at each shopping village. There is a local bakery and a variety of restaurants and cafes catering to all tastes. It wouldn’t be a true Australian town without a watering hole, and Coral Bay has two wonderful bars where you can wash down the salt from your day on the water! There are also a few boutique shops and a newsagent that provides daily newspapers, magazines & a postal service.
Mobile cellular networks are maintained by Telstra and Optus only. Wifi is available at Reef and Fins Cafés and at the resort!
Attractions
Coral Bay offers a range of activities in and out of the water. Our biggest and most popular attraction is of course, the Ningaloo Reef.
Other activities include kayaking, fishing, 4WDing, a visit to the day spa, exploring the trails, and simply relaxing on the beach by the shallow turquoise water.
