Coral Bay – Nestled between ochre desert dunes and turquoise tropical waters, Coral Bay is a beautiful and remote resort town. Located approximately 1200KM north of Perth and 150km south of Exmouth, Coral Bay’s mild climate makes it the perfect base for your holiday any time of the year.
Situated in the spectacular Coral Coast region of Western Australia within the heart of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park we have direct beach access to the Ningaloo Reef system. This UNESCO World Heritage area, with its incredible hard coral structures and huge variety of marine life, is famous for its seasonal sightings of Whale Sharks, annual migration of Humpback Whales and year-round sightings of manta rays! With the reef right at your doorstep you can snorkel right off the beach and experience the Ningaloo reef in all its glory.
With only a permanent population of approximately 150-200 people, it is the ideal location for a calm and secluded holiday escape.

All year long the waters of the Ningaloo Reef are flooded with nutrients and marine life, so chance encounters may include dolphins, turtles, dugongs, orcas and other species of whales, pelagic species, different species of sharks and many different species of tropical fishes.
From March until July Whale Sharks are found all along the Ningaloo Reef, from July to October we can experience the annual migration of Humpback whales through the area and all year long we are very lucky to have a resident population of Manta Rays that inhabit the local waters.
